Introduction
SR User Meeting 2005 13th~14th September, Palace Hotel, Manchester
The SR User Forum is organising this meeting with the support of CCLRC Daresbury Laboratory and Diamond Light Source.
The forthcoming user meeting will be held at The Palace Hotel, Manchester on 13th and 14th September 2005. The meeting will follow a similar format to the successful meeting held last year at Milton Hill House, involving a number of plenary talks related to parallel satellite sessions on topical areas of synchrotron radiation research.
We very much hope that you and your fellow colleagues, post doctoral research assistants and students will be able to attend this meeting.
This year is a very special year since we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the operation of the Synchrotron Radiation Source at Daresbury. The user meeting will be preceded on Monday 12th by a celebration at which there will be a series of lectures and seminars by those who have made a great contribution to the life and the work of the SRS. We hope that, in addition to attending the user meeting, you and your colleagues can extend your visit to include this occasion.
Both meetings will be held at The Palace Hotel, Manchester in the remarkable Victorian surroundings of the former Refuge Assurance Company.
