TRAVEL TO DARESBURY LABORATORY

ROAD - RAIL - AIR - LOCAL TRANSPORT

The Laboratory is 5 miles south west of Warrington and 5 miles east of Runcorn, immediately to the west of the A56 near the village of Daresbury. It is 1 mile from junction 11 on the M56 motorway. The M56 connects to the national motorway network via the M6 (6 miles east).

Frequent intercity train services run to both Runcorn and Warrington Bank Quay stations. There are also regional services to and from Warrington Central. Local rail enquiry offices:

Manchester International Airport is approximately 40 minutes by car from the Laboratory.

Taxi and car hire facilities are available at both airports.

Local bus services operate between Warrington Bus Station and Daresbury village

No direct bus route operates from Runcorn railway station but taxi services are available and will take about 15 minutes to reach the Laboratory.
