Topography
High resolution Diffraction
Diffraction Enhanced Imaging
Functional Description
Originallty built for X-ray topography, the station is now used for optics testing and for imaging of biological specimens using a Diffraction Enhanced Imaging camera.
Technical Description
The station is 76m from the source which gives the highest angular resolution of any station on the SRS. There is no permanently installed optics but a double crystal camera allow high resolution topography and rocking curve measurements to be made. The station is very flexibly allowing unusual geometries to be set up. There is a dark room for processing images on X-ray photographic film.
