Functional Description

X-ray absorption spectroscopy on dilute systems in the energy range 7-27keV

Technical Description

Pre-mirror providing collimation, double crystal monochromator with sagittal focus up to 27keV. 30-element Ge solid-state detector with high count-rate electronics, (200kHz per channel)

Development

Sagittal focus now available up to 27keV.

Proposed Development

Mirror coatings to increase flux. Deployment of second mirror for vertical focus. Edge changes possible by users.
