Please do use the station log book extensively to record relevant experimental parameters, and log any problems you may encounter with the station equipment.

• Start the data collection program
• Determine the primary beam position and check the distance/wavelength
• Do a 'pink paper test' if necessary
• Mount the sample and start data collection.
