TIDYTEXT - Document Formatting Program
Abstract
The program TIDYTEXT is a text formatting program which was designed to be
used, in particular, with machine readable documentation. The text
files contain the mimimum of control characters and the formatting is
done following a few simple conventions. The text file itself may
be re-formatted or a file output for printing. There are options
to handle Vax help file compatible text files and to produce Postscript
output files. Much of the original Laue software suite documentation was
prepared in TIDYTEXT format and TIDYTEXT documents may be prepared, if
desired, from the more recent primary Laue documentation files in a
'pre-html' format.
Documentation
A user documentation file
is available in html format. The suite is distributed with a plain
text file equivalent.
Availability
The program is distributed as part of the
Laue Software Suite.
