NEWLAUE - Laue Simulations and Auto-indexing
Abstract
The program NEWLAUE may be used to generate and display Laue patterns given
basic information such as cell parameters, the crystal to image distance,
theb wavelength range, minimum d-spacing, crystal type and setting. As
well as simulating normal Laue diffraction images, the program will also
simulate Gnomonic projections. The program
is designed to run on terminals with ANSI text support and a T4010
type of graphics screen. The program has an option to determine the
crystal orientation via an auto-indexing procedure based on the manual
selection of nodal spot positions from the Laue diffraction image.
Documentation
A user documentation file
is available in html format. The suite is distributed with a plain
text file equivalent.
Availability
The program is distributed as part of the
Laue Software Suite.
