LAUEGEN - Laue image display, simulations, auto-indexing and orientation
refinement
Abstract
LAUEGEN is an
X-windows based program for carrying out the initial stages of data processing
for Laue X-ray diffraction images. It has facilities for
- Displaying Laue simulations.
- Displaying and measuring images.
- Determining the crystal orientation using an auto-indexing procedure.
- Refining the crystal orientation.
- Determining the Laue soft limits.
The program makes use of the XDL_VIEW X-windows based package developed at
the Daresbury Laboratory. It incorporates the functions of the programs
NEWLAUE, SPOTIN and GENLAUE from the original Laue suite. It provides a
menu driven interface and exploits the possibilities offered by the
X-windows graphics system.
